A few days after CinemaCon, where actress Olivia Wilde presented her second directorial work, Don’t Worry, Sunshine, Warner Bros. showed the first trailer of the horror.
The video showed Alice and her husband Jack living an idyllic life in a 1950s experimental village called Pobeda. While Jack and the rest of the men work on a top-secret project, their wives “spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury, and depravity of their community.” The only thing they are forbidden to do is to ask questions about the work of their husbands. However, housewife Alice, who learns a shocking truth about her husband, puts her own life at risk.
Starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan and Douglas Smith. Shia LaBeouf was originally supposed to play Jack. However, Wilde fired him due to indecent behavior.
The film is scheduled to release on September 23, 2022.
