Emma Myers has spoken about whether there is a possibility that her character and Jenna Ortega’s character will maintain a lesbian relationship in the next batch. She doesn’t see it clearly…
Since Netflix confirmed season 2 of ‘Wednesday’, a crazy race has begun to discover what the writers will prepare for us for the next chapters, still without a release date. One of the issues that has been on the table for some time is the possible love relationship between Enid and Wednesday. Miles Millar, one of the creators of the series, spoke in a recent interview about this possibility: “We are open to everything. We want to explore that friendship in every way.” It has always been said that opposites attract and the two would make a perfect sentimental tandem.
The fans also seem to claim this union, but it is still not as evident as we thought, according to the latest statements by Emma Mayers, one of those involved in the matter. The actress who plays Enid has spoken to Variety: “Anything is possible on the show. We haven’t really talked about where it’s going, so I don’t know the plan right now. As for Wednesday’s love interests, I think, at least for this second season, she needs to be single. It’s over. She’s going through a huge fiasco with two guys and has to let it go for a while. It would discourage me from having anything with someone if I had been through that.”
The actress plays the mystery regarding the plot of the second installment and assures that she has no idea what will happen. What does stand out is the strong bond she has with her co-star: “She’s very similar to Wednesday. We get along very well, I love Jenna. She’s one of my closest friends. We have a different off-screen dynamic, but no less important, deep and beautiful than that of Enid and Wednesday”.
