While Netflix plans to stop sharing passwords among users, the streaming giant has released new features for Premium subscription accounts. Among the innovations, the improvement of the sound quality, with the availability of spatial audio and the increase in the number of devices for download.
Netflix Spatial Audio ensures better sound quality on various devices such as TVs, computers, tablets and smartphones. But, obviously, the most noticeable difference will be for users who have a home theater system or a powerful soundbar. In this case the promise is an audio closer to the cinema. You always have to take the exaggeration out of promises, of course.

As revealed in the statement, spatial audio is already available in more than 700 titles on the streaming platform such as ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Wandinha’, ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’.
The new audio feature will also be available on upcoming titles such as “You”, “At Your House or Mine?”, “Luther: Nightfall” and “Tour de France”.
Download to multiple devices
Another announcement made was the increase of devices on which Premium plan users will be able to download movies and series. Netflix used to allow users in a household, for example, to download content on only four devices, now the number has risen to six.
“With people more connected than ever across multiple devices, we found through surveys that members would like the ability to download Netflix shows and movies to watch offline on multiple devices, especially when traveling and switching between devices.” Arora said.
