Great news for fans of the legendary Yuri Stoyanov — a new 10-episode film called “Mammoths” is being prepared for release, where the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation plays the main role. Filming for the project has already begun. Series director Ivan Sosnin (“Far Close”, “Ivan’s Happiness”, “Interview”) will perform, and Stoyanov’s partners on the set will be Elizaveta Ishchenko, Maryana Spivak, Lev Malishava, Natalya Pavlenkova and Roman Khan.

The series “Mammoths” will tell the story of a pensioner Nikolai Nikolaevich (Yuri Stoyanov), who sells an apartment and moves to his daughter in New Moscow. A naive pensioner becomes a victim of an Internet scammer who takes all the money from the sale of real estate from his card. After contacting law enforcement agencies, it becomes clear that the chance to return the stolen is zero. A desperate pensioner decides to figure it out on his own and takes a 15-year-old granddaughter as a companion, who has long dreamed that her grandfather would move out of them as soon as possible.
“Mammoths” will be shown exclusively in the Okko online cinema. A premiere date for the series has yet to be revealed.
