Making music with Ricardo Schneider and LinearWave (Yuri) is always wonderful. But this time it seems like there was a very intense connection from start to finish. I feel like all of our writing has been preparation for us to cover “Kabaluerê” – FaOut
I still remember the first time I heard “What is it?” (Marcelo D2) and the fascination I had with that groove. Years later, I discovered that it was another song, “Kabaluerê”. Being able to dive into this source and re-record this song together with my partners [FaOut e Ricardo Schneider] it’s very special, and it brings back nostalgia from my teenage days” – LinearWave.
“kabaluerê” is one of those songs that seems like we were born knowing how to play, and participating in this reinterpretation was an honor for me. Being able to re-record this classic take of Brazilian music was incredible, even more so having the opportunity to work with my friends again [FaOut e LinearWave]mixing our influences and characteristics”, concludes Schneider.
Derived from the English “low fidelity”, that is, low fidelity, the genre is characterized by lightness and simplicity, elements considered “imperfections”, and often does not carry vocals. The style has become very popular in recent years through ‘digital radio.’
