Anitta returned to complain about Warner Music after tribute on Women’s Day
Anita again publicly complained about his situation in Warner Music. After publishing a tribute on International Women’s Day made by the company, the singer pointed out hypocrisy and asked the record company to fulfill its obligations.
“Communication in Warner it’s so good that they posted a photo of me in honor of Women’s Day, although I have to go public and ask for the ‘respect for women’ that date represents. They even used a song they said would never be successful without a guest artist because I wasn’t strong enough for that,” he wrote in English.
“On this Women’s Day, instead of a cute publication, I would love for the CEO to fulfill what he promised me a month ago, after I asked what the value was to terminate the contract and he said that this would not happen. Respect me, a young woman, giving me the fair and respectful conversation I asked for,” continued the singer.
Anita revealed that the Warner communicates with her only with lawyers, who debate financial terms, in an unfair division. “I have already accepted the unfair fact that I am the biggest investor. I only ask that the label does its simple job of promoting my music,” she stated.
Finally, the artist gave advice to young artists, asking them to read their contracts and take their own growth into account.
A week ago, in conversation with fans on Twitter, Anita had already criticized the company:
If I had a fine to pay, I would have already auctioned off my organs, no matter how expensive they were, to get out. But unfortunately it doesn’t. When you’re young and still don’t know much, you have to pay close attention to the things you sign… if you can’t spend a lifetime paying for the mistake.
