Memento Mori, Depeche Mode’s first album since Andy Fletcher’s death, is set for March 24
Depeche Mode released the second single from the band’s next album this Thursday, 9. The track is called “My Cosmos Is Mine” and is part of memento moriwhich is scheduled for release on March 24.
The project is the band’s first album since the keyboardist and founder’s death. Andy Fletcherwho did not participate in the recordings.
“He never got to hear it, which is really sad. There are songs on this record where he would say, ‘This is the best we’ve done in years,’ I can hear his voice. I can also hear him saying, ‘All the songs need to be about death?'”, martin goreguitarist, said in a press release.
