The singer takes Willow’s place at the São Paulo festival
Lollapalooza announced this Wednesday (15th) Baco Exu do Blues as the new attraction of the São Paulo festival. That’s because the singer, actress and activist WILLOW had to cancel his show due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the event organizers.
In this way, the main name of the national trap, L7NNONwhich was already scheduled for the 2023 edition, takes the Budweiser stage when the American artist will perform — at 4.25pm of the day March 26th. The lineup is strengthened by another important name of national rap, Baco Exu do Blueswho has the show scheduled at 6.35pmeven of the day March 26thon stage adidas.
New attraction announced, Bahian rapper Baco Exu do Blues gained attention for the single “Te Amo Disgraça” and then consolidated with the release of the album bluesman (2018). The short film from this album also won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions festival – one of the most important in the advertising market – in the Entertainment for Music category, in 2019. He was the first Brazilian to achieve this feat and, at the time, he shared the victory with the video “This is America”, by rapper Childish Gambino, and surpassed “Apeshit”, a well-known video by Beyoncé and Jay-Z, recorded at the Louvre Museum, in Paris.
