Singer Simaria has lived through a drama in the last ten years and faced, twice, a lymph node tuberculosis, an infectious disease that attacks defense organs located in different parts of the body. Illness drove the sertaneja out of the picture for months in 2018.
Five years after her diagnosis, Simaria revealed in an interview with Quem magazine that she lives on alert because of the disease. “When I had tuberculosis, in 2018, I moved to São Paulo, because my health needed a good hospital, I was in a very, very difficult situation. I had two tuberculosis in the ganglion. And tuberculosis in the ganglion can become systemic. If my immunity goes down, if I don’t eat, if I sleep at the wrong time, all this implies that my immunity goes down and can come back”, he revealed.
