Call it magic, call it reality. We call it a phenomenon: a hurricane Coldplayor a Coldplaymania that invaded the country in the last 20 days became a special digital edition of Rolling Stone Brazil.

There were 11 shows, in three capitals and a total audience of over 730 people. A passage with the most exhausted Music of the Spheres Tourwhich surpassed other giant music visits here, such as U2which sold out the Morumbi stadium in São Paulo five times with the Joshua Tree Tour in 2017. This time, however, our team was behind every moment, gathering the details for a 52-page dossier on Coldplay, available this Wednesday (29) on digital newsstands.

It is to register this tour with residency times in Brazil, we detail the show, the special participation and the elements used in the interaction with the public – including the famous colored LED bracelets, controversial souvenir in the hand of some. We list the favorite tracks in the setlist of the Brazilian show and we focus on the album that gives the show its name. And we went after the public appearances of Chris Martin, Will Champion, Guy Berryman It is Phil Harvey outside the shows.
We also rescued the historical reports that explain how Coldplay evolved from the melancholy of the 1990s to a beacon of colorful positivity. And we heard from the fans, who braved rain, queues and traffic to experience the “dream two hours”, as described by one passionate about the band – a journey through the solar system from Chris Martin to Music of the Spheres, which we return to in the pages of the special.
