Beyond The Grateful Dead: 5 rock bands that are part of TikTok [LISTA]

With the arrival of Tiktok, rock bands like The Grateful Dead, Ghost and more decided to be part of the platform that transformed the music industry.

The Grateful Dead is the latest rock band to join TikTok, with their first video posted last week. With the arrival of the video platform, other rock bands like ghost, Led Zeppelin and more also decided to be part of the community that transformed the music industry.

According to a press release, the TikTok account of The Grateful Dead “will serve as an outlet to celebrate the decades of music, generations of communities and the infinite variety of creativity that has woven the band and its fans into each new era of world counterculture and consciousness.”

The band’s first video on the platform was a 30-second compilation of archival concert footage, artwork, interviews and more, from the late ’60s to their final shows in 1995. ‘St. Stephen’from a remastered 1969 live recording at San Francisco’s Fillmore West.

In less than two hours after creating the profile on TikTokO pink Floyd amassed over 7,500 followers. In addition to curiosities about the songs already known by the public, the members show images and footage from the period when the band was still active, as well as videos made by fans.

ghost joined the tiktok on Valentine’s Day this year, on February 14th. With the background soundtrack “Unchainted Melody”in Elvis Presleythe band shows special actions and videos with the storytelling that all fans know: full of moments with the Nameless Ghoulsas members of the ghost.
