The mother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter was arrested on Friday, aged 28, after contesting her husband’s television remote control. TMZ, Jane Schneck would have ingested alcoholic beverages and attacked her husband in the house, located in Florida.

Sources of the American site have revealed that the discussion began due to loud music on the TV, which disturbed her husband’s sleep. However, the pair argued and the fight soon escalated to physical assault.

Later, the man would start recording the violence of Jane, who was furious and would “hold her arm” to prevent the recording. After pressure, he decided to call the local police and showed them the pictures. Authorities decided to arrest the matriarch for assault.

After being taken to the police station, Jane Schneck decided to pay a bail of only US$100, approximately R$504 at current exchange rates. The musician’s mother was released from custody on Saturday (April 29). Her husband, in turn, was not injured and refused to receive medical attention.
