Roberto de Carvalho publishes tribute to Rita Lee

The singer died on Monday evening, aged 8, at her home, in São Paulo, at the age of 75; Roberto and Rita have been married for 46 years

Roberto de Carvalho, Rita Lee’s husband, published a message in honor of the singer in the early afternoon of Tuesday 9. Rita died on Monday night 8 at her home in the city of São Paulo.

“It’s late, now I’m going. I have to leave, see you tomorrow…”, he wrote in the caption of a photo of the artist with the song braçanã boy.

Rita and Roberto met in the early 1970s, completing nearly five decades together. The two lived together professionally and personally, they had three children together, Beto, João and Antônio, as well as many successes. Roberto wrote hits like Perfume launcher,obsession with you AND hot pink coloramong others.
