The drummer and only living member of the Ramones performs in Brazil in October
Attending a concert by this global punk rock legend is like being transported to a Ramones concert at CBGB’s, New York’s punk rock mecca, being able to experience all the raw energy of pure rock’n’roll and being part of the history.
There will be concerts celebrating 50 years of CBGB, with the presentation of the greatest classics of the band that made punk popular through music, concept, attitude and irreverent and simple fashion.
Classics like “Pet Sematary”, “Sheena is a Punk Rocker”, “Blitzkrieg Bop” and “Do You Wanna Dance” among other hits!

Marky Ramone was the Ramones’ longest serving drummer and recorded eight studio albums with the group between 1978 and 1983 and from 1987 until it ended in 1996.
Facts about Marky Ramone:
– Played over 1700 shows with the Ramones in the 15 years he was with the band;
– The classic “I Wanna Be Sedated” was the first song Marky recorded with the Ramones;
– In 2016, he invited Dinho Ouro Preto to record vocals for a version of the classic “Concrete and Clay”;
– In 2015 he published the book “Punk Rock Blitzkrieg – My Life as a Ramone”, an autobiography.
– In 1978 he met Dee Dee Ramone at the legendary CBGB’s in New York and was invited by the bassist to join the Ramones;
– In February 2010, the Ramones received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award which recognizes the artist for all his work. It was the first Grammy for punk pioneers;
– In 2001, Marky, along with the remaining band members (Johnny, Dee Dee and Tommy), were immortalized in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame. That same year, Bono Vox presented the Ramones with MTV’s Lifetime Achievement Awards for them;
– Marky is married to Marion Flynn, his eternal girlfriend since they were teenagers.
