Letter signed by Dave Grohl still indicates Foo Fighters presence at Glastonbury
foo fighters announced a new drummer, returned to the road and released a new album – all this in 2023. The band is rebuilding itself after the death of taylor hawkins in March of last year, during a tour of South America.
In a letter shared on the group’s social networks, Dave Grohl thanked fans for their continued support and highlighted emotions he felt in the performances so far: “Hi, it’s been a while. Now that we’ve wrapped up our first shows, I feel like I should thank you all for being there with us.”
“Every night, when I see you singing, I sing louder. When I see you screaming, I scream louder. When I see you crying, I am overcome with tears. And when I see your joy, I feel happy,” he continued.
The letter contains a possible hint about the surprise presentation of the foo fighters at the traditional british festival Glastonbury. When talking about “stirring emotions together,” grohl used the term “chruning up.” A mysterious band called The Churnups is on the line-up of the event – known for bringing surprises.
Finally, dave states, “Because we’ve always done it together, over and over again.”
