Rammstein’s Till Lindemann under investigation for sexual assault

Rammstein issued a statement denying abuse allegations against Till Lindemann, lead singer of the band

Till Lindemannvocalist of Rammstein, is being investigated by the Berlin Public Ministry for sexual abuse. The decision comes after accusations from fans of the band, that they would have been doped by members of the team before shows, according to the Agence France-Presse (via NME).

“Preliminary proceedings have been initiated against Till Lindemann regarding allegations of sexual abuse and distribution of narcotics,” a spokeswoman said. Further details about the inquiry will not be revealed during the course of the investigation.

In a statement to the news agency, Lindemann again denied the accusations, stating that “all, without exception, are false.”

Reports of sexual abuse began to emerge after the complaint of Shelby Lynn, fan of the band, made on Twitter two days after the group’s performance in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. She claimed she was doped at a pre-show event.
