Victor Kley released this Thursday (15th), the first single from his first DVD The Bubble Live in São Paulodirected by Anselm Troncoso. And to cheer up this moment of firsts, the singer called the duo Jorge and Mateus to interpret, alongside him, the unreleased song Cornice.
“What an honor to have the incredible Jorge and Mateus participate, what a beautiful connection and friendship we have created. , we imagined the voice of Jorge and Mateus. And when you blink and they are there, recording with you, you realize that it was the same thing, which was that connection that was missing”comment Victor Kley.
Cornice talk about a broken relationship. The texts raise questions about what to do with the many moments lived, with the many things acquired during the love story and the bonds created, such as: the frame of the couple’s portrait, or with the pajamas that the ex-boyfriend has given, the relationship with ex mother-in-law.
“I’m about to throw it all away/ But every ending is so bad/ Your memory is everywhere/ Today even the goalkeeper asked for you/ And what should I do with the frame/ With the pajamas you gave me / Your mother also sent a message / Saying that between us she prefers me”.
The clip leads the three artists to interpret the song and mix a little suffering with the joy that is already a trademark Victor Kley. In the background, the animation that only live brings: the fans going wild amid applause and screams.
“All the people who listen to it laugh a little and say, ‘Man, I’ve been through this once in my life.’ It’s a very special song and I hope everyone sings it. I’m very happy to release it with this collaboration”ends Victor Kley.
