The New Zealand singer shared a screenshot of an affectionate message from Taylor Swift to her in 2017
In addition to his talent for composition, Taylor Swift also does well with words of support to friends. At least that’s what guarantees Lordwho shared a screenshot of an exchange of messages with her friend.
On record, Taylor appears to support Lorde after what appears to have been a disappointing reception from Melodrama, 2017 album by the New Zealander. In the message, Taylor comforts her friend, saying she does not believe that “first week sales of a record alone define a legacy”.
“In my head, I’ll always think of you in a rowboat with Annie Lennox floating down a river of intellectual dreams that are ethereal and cool, but with a ‘don’t-f*ck-me’ vibe to it. And I don’t think the first week sales alone define a legacy,” Taylor wrote to Lorde.
In the print, the New Zealander thanks you, saying: “I love you so much for this”, and Taylor seems to write more – which was not revealed in the record.

In the post, shared by Lorde via Instagram Stories last weekend, she wrote: “Taylor was so kind and didn’t miss @taylorswift.”

Lorde and Taylor Swift are longtime friends. In 2017, rumors claimed that they would have fought, which Lorde said in a post on Twitter:
“I want to say again that Taylor has always been there for me in all my moments of light or dark, for the last 5 years. In all of them. I feel terrible for having implied that I was not faithful to her in any moment”, wrote singer, to the occasion.
