The Cure: Robert Smith promises 2h30 concerts in Brazil and South America

With The Cure, Robert Smith will sing at Primavera Sound São Paulo 2023

First big attraction confirmed in the line-up of Primavera Sound Sao Paulo 2023, The Cure should play a show for approximately 2h30, according to the frontman of the British rock band, Robert Smith. The group must follow this duration in the other presentations in Latin America.

In addition to Brazil, Smith will pass through countries such as Argentina, Paraguay and Colombia. So far, The Cure is the only confirmed name on the Primavera Sound Brazilian, while the other countries have already released the complete line-up.

In a publication on social networks, the singer and songwriter took the opportunity to talk about what Latin fans can expect from the group’s shows. “For your information, we will be playing sets of a minimum of 150 minutes [2h30] at all our Latin American shows,” he wrote. “Plus, you’ll see [bandas como] The Twilight Sad / Just Mustard / Slowdive… and some other really good artists too… let’s go!”

The Cure announce possible Primavera Sound sales date

The Cure announced the sales dates for the band’s concert in São Paulo. So far, the group’s only confirmed presentation in the capital of São Paulo takes place at Primavera Soundwhich is scheduled for the 2nd and 3rd of December.

In a publication on the official website, the band stated that there will be a pre-sale on June 27, at 12 pm. The general sale would start on the 30th. The text also has information about sales in other countries in South America, including a link to buy tickets for Primavera Sound Buenos Aires.

The Brazilian edition has not yet announced information about sales and prices. The only confirmed attraction is precisely the group of Robert Smith.
