The rapper was adamant that he doesn’t care how much money he lost
the rapper ice cube said he refused a fee of 9 million dollars (more than R$43 million) to star in a film, as he did not want to be vaccinated against covid-19. The artist would be in one of the main roles of the feature film Oh hell noalong with Jack Black.
The statement was made in an interview for the podcast Joe Rogan’s experience. He also said he was under pressure, but he doesn’t care about the amount he lost.
“They try to pressure me, everyone around me tells me how stupid I am so I can get vaccinated and they say ‘please let me do the film’. That would never happen. I don’t care if it was 20 million dollars (more than R $ 95 million ), that would never happen,” he said.
In the film, Sherman (Jack Black) ends up involved in a romantic relationship with Will’s mother (who would be played by Cube). The character doesn’t handle the situation well at all and tries to separate the two at any cost. The film will be directed by Kitao Sakurai (bad trip).
