McFly announce partnership with Fresno on deluxe version of “Power to Play”

Of British origin, the band McFly always had a strong connection with Brazil: five visits to the country, with the right to a documentary of the 2022 tour, numerous declarations of love and even the use of a Brazilian sample in one of the discography albums.

Now with the disc release Power to Play (2023), harryjudd (battery), Tom Fletcher (vocals and guitar), Danny Jones (vocals and guitar) and Dougie Poynter (bottom) strengthen the relationship with Brazil even more with the launch of the participation of “Broken By You”a single that will be featured on the deluxe version of the eighth album, designed especially for the Brazilian public, and features the band fresno.

The relationship between McFly and Fresno began during the pandemic years, when both Brazilian vocalist Lucas Silveira and British bassist Dougie Poynter broadcast live on the Twitch platform to keep in touch with fans. During one of the lives, Lucas’ channel was recommended to Dougie, starting a somewhat unexpected friendship.
