The star Ivete Sangalo celebrates it 30-year career and the phase yielded some reflections from the singer about the age.
To the podcasts one by onepresented by the legendary rap singer Mano Brown on Spotify, the voice of The moon I gave you talked about the ageism and that this is not a hindrance in your life and that you feel “power” to the 51 years old.
“I don’t feel age as a derogatory factor. I feel age as a power, like ‘I’m alive!'”celebrated Sangalo.
And he continued: “I think one of the things that I’ve achieved as a woman is to let go of that age that we’ve been given as a difficult thing. I think it’s great to be 51 and have that energy.”
Ivete Sangalo also analyzed the company in the 70’s and how things have changed regarding age: “It’s because in the 70s there was this oppression… 50 (years) in the 70s maybe women had fire in their f*rico, but they were contained and coerced and compromised because of it,” concluded the artist.
