According to a survey published by the most used streaming platform in the world (via State of Minas), rock is the third most heard genre in the country, behind only funk and sertanejo (without specifying which one is in first or second place).
In addition to this information, the company revealed some rankings of the most heard artists of the style in the national territory. It should be noted that not all those mentioned can be classified exactly as rock, but the definition is applied by the company itself.

Here, curiously, the country does not follow a worldwide trend of having Queen as the most heard artist of the style. Quite an achievement for Linkin Park, a band that emerged at the turn of the century.
Another curious piece of information is the presence of Imagine Dragons, a group that is not classified as rock by many fans of the style. The hybrid between pop and rock practiced by the project led by Dan Reynolds brings a strong influence of electronic music, but without giving up elements of arena rock.
