In another letter, dated August 14, 1966, Louise said: “I hope the boys have a successful tour in America, despite the rumors we’ve heard”. She was referring to the controversial speech by John Lennon that compared The Beatles to Jesus. The musician stated during an interview with Evening Standard that the Beatles is “more popular than Jesus”.
