Author of the hit ‘Padam Padam’, Kylie Minogue still praised music by Harry Styles
Kylie Minogue talked about how using songs on TikTok made today’s compositions so different for her from years ago. The social network is sometimes responsible for turning several songs (or at least a part of them) into hits.
“It cuts to the chase faster. That would be the biggest difference. You know, your long intro, your double… I mean, it’s a snap,” he said. Minogue in an interview with Zach SangShow (via daily mail). “His verse is half a verse. Chorus… A lot is ‘TikTokzado’. No doubt for the kind of attention we’re talking about,” she continued.
Zach Sang, presenter of the program, asked the singer: “Do you lose the ability to tell stories?”. The answer came right away: “Not if you do it well”, he reflected Kylie, pointing to a poster Harry Styles in the studio.
“Looking at the Harry Styles up there… I mean, ‘As It Was’ I lose everything when I hear this one. I’m like, ‘Perfection. This is perfection'”, said the artist. “It goes straight to the point”, he added. She also admitted that music today is very different from what was done when she consolidated her career, still in the 1980s.

The Australian singer is experiencing her biggest success in years with the release of “Padam Padam” last May. The track is the first from the upcoming album by kylie, Voltagewhich is expected to be released on September 22 of this year.
