Doug O (@umpretochique)’s music sounds mature and classic. R&B and Neo Soul together with jazz productions, captivating melodies and voices that express a call to romance, the intensity and delicacy of desire. His inspirations, ranging from Earth Wind & Fire to Tim Maia, are strongly reflected in his music. Last year, the singer and composer from São Paulo released his EP “MOVA” accompanied by a short film built with the compilation of the songs featured in the EP.

“Êxito”, a non-EP single, is loaded with passion, packed with instruments, and is a great introduction to the music of Doug O.

“Imatures”, new single, cit tells a bit about the end of mutual feeling, the disillusionment, the coldness, the end. The song is part of Act 1 of a project that will bring bi-weekly releases until December 2023, being its first release by distributor ONErpm. Act 1, entitled “Silence”, is the story of a couple who end their relationship and need to continue living in the same house and leaves us looking forward to the next chapters.
