Selena Gomez i used samantha jones audio in “Sex and the City” to promote your new song, “Single Soon”, which will be released next Friday (25). In the video posted on Instagram, the singer dubbed an iconic moment of the character she played Kim Cattrall.

Mimicking a phone with her hand, Selena double-a “HI”. Then a male voice replies: “It’s over! I told my wife.” Then Gomez replies: “Who is speaking?”.
The audio used by the singer is part of the eighth episode of the first season of the series, when Samantha talks on the phone with a relationship who has separated from his wife to be with her. However, the character has no interest in continuing the relationship.
On Twitter, Kim Cattrall herself reacted to Selena’s video. “I approve this message”she wrote, adding the kiss emoji.

“Single Soon”, which, in free translation, means “single soon”, comes on Friday (25). According to the singer the song is “fun” and “perfect for the end of summer”.
