Liam Payne performances in South America would take place in the first two weeks of September; festival organization has yet to comment
Liam Payneformer member of boy band One Direction, announced the cancellation of shows in South America, including a performance in Brazil, on its social networks this Friday (25). Performances were scheduled for the first two weeks of September.
The British singer would start the agenda on September 1st, in Lima, Peru, would pass through São Paulo at The Town festival, on the 7th, and end in Mexico City, on the 12th.
On video, Payne says this was the last piece of news he wanted to share with fans, but the decision had to be made due to a kidney infection that had to be treated in hospital. So far, the organization of The Town did not comment on the cancellation.
I was beyond excited to come play for you guys. To everyone who bought a ticket: I’m so sorry. We are working to reschedule the tour as soon as possible, but for now we will be refunding tickets.”
