Since retiring from the scene at the end of 2022, singer-songwriter Milton Nascimento has reiterated – always in a good mood – that he does not intend to return to the routine of performances.

This time Bituca, as he likes to call himself, has shown that he wants to remain steadfast in his desire, after undergoing a medical examination at his home in Rio de Janeiro.

Dr. Weverton Siqueira, who has been following the singer for 8 years, informed that Bituca is in good health, with diabetes and blood pressure under control. “Health is up to date. He is released to live another 100 (years),” said the professional.

Bituca’s son, the entrepreneur Augusto Nascimento, later joked that he is free to do another show. “Shall we do another little show?” asked Augustus.

“Absolutely not!” Milton answered, then smiled. The moment was posted on the singer’s social networks.

Since leaving the stage, Milton, 80, has been enjoying life traveling around Europe, hitting the beach and entertaining friends at home. Among those who have visited it are Gilberto Gil, João Bosco and the pianist Wagner Tiso. With Tiso Bituca she also sang one of his greatest hits, Student heart.
