Bruce Springsteen postponed the September performances after starting treatment for a peptic ulcer – which forms in the lining of the stomach or duodenum after being eaten away by stomach acid and digestive juices. The statement was released on the singer’s social media this Wednesday (6).

The announcement said that as a result of the musician’s medical treatment and “the decision of his medical advisors,” the remainder of the musician’s Bruce Springsteen It is The E Street Band in September they were postponed.

In total, eight shows in the United States were postponed so that Springsteen can receive appropriate medical treatment. He had already scheduled a tour break for October. As of now, his next scheduled performance will be on November 3rd in Vancouver, Canada
