In My lovethe former-Little mix explores the complex truths about self-love and relationships. The artist’s appreciation for afrobeat AND afropop you can see it throughout the song, when he invites Magic sticks (Asake) for production and is combined with Ayra Starr. The track also features guest appearances from names like PRGSHN, Khris Riddick-Tynes (From The scoundrels), Alex Goldblatt, Kameron Glasper AND DYO. Now, the clip, directed by Meji Alabicontinue with Don’t say loveWhile Leigh-Anne emerges from the ocean, reaffirming his rebirth as a solo artist.
The audiovisual comes packed with choreography and shows the duo dancing while appreciating Nigerian culture, friendships and love, as well as shedding light on local actors and dancers.
