The city festival reaches its final phase this Saturday (9/9) at Cidade da Música, at the Interlagos racecourse.
Saturday rock
The first edition of the event organized by the same producers of Rock in Rio has its only Rock day on Saturday, with shows by Foo Fighers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Garbage and Pitty on the Skyline stage. Thanks to a last minute cancellation, Yeah Yeah Yeahs took the place of Queens of the Stone Age, originally scheduled for the festival.
Saturday’s program also features the event’s most indie representative, the British band Wet Leg, nominated for a Grammy and underestimated for its production. She was chosen as the first attraction on the stage of The One, where she serves as the opening act for – believe me – Barão Vermelho (with Samuel Rosa replacing Cazuza), Detonautas (!) and Terno Rei.
Sunday pop
The last day of the event, Sunday (8/10), resumes the pop repertoire with shows by Iza, Kim Petras, HER and, once again, Bruno Mars, who closes The Town with the equivalent of an encore of a entire performance. To date, the Hawaiian singer’s opening show, which took place last Saturday (9/1), continues to be considered the best of the festival.
At the farewell, The One’s stage will be 100% national, with performances by Marina Sena (singing Gal Costa), Pabllo Vittar (with Liniker and Jup do Bairro), Gloria Groove and Jão.
The festival will be broadcast live on TV and streaming, via Multishow, Bis and Globoplay.
