Seu Jorge published photos on Instagram of his meeting with Bruno Mars backstage at The Town festival, at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in Sao Paulo. The meeting took place after Bruno Mars’ performance and marked the first time the artists were able to speak, despite having already played at the same event previously.

On his social profile, Seu Jorge said that the first time he crossed paths with Bruno Mars was about ten years ago, at another music festival. At that moment the conversation was not possible. “After a decade, fate wanted us to meet again here in Brazil. It was a very cheerful and musical evening with several performances by wonderful artists. Bruno, my brother, I want to thank you very much for the evening of music, laughter and many reviews,” said the Brazilian musician.
The Brazilian artist also revealed that he and Bruno Mars will meet up in the United States soon. “I wish you a beautiful trip and a good concert in Chile and see you soon in Los Angeles. A big hug to all the musicians in your band. It was great to see your brother”, he expressed.
Bruno Mars’ return to Brazil was not only notable for Seu Jorge, as the Hawaiian musician gave what is considered to date the best international show of the event in Sao Paulo.
Bruno Mars, who played in Chile during the week, will return to perform on stage at The Town next Sunday (9/10), closing the festival.
