The past has never been so present in the project of the country duo Day and Lara, who have just put an end to the mystery they had created on social media. The new project Let’s go to Sertanejar comes to impact the music scene and expose “the bad guys” in an unprecedented way.
With a diverse repertoire, which embraces the plurality of Brazilian pop music and its influences, the album was released on digital platforms last Thursday (7) and on Youtube Friday (8).
Let’s go to Sertanejar captures the essence of country music through versions of iconic songs that have marked a generation and acquired a new aspect in the voice of Giorno and Lara. The project, recorded live in Goiania (GO) the last day August, 31promises to take fans on an emotional musical journey into the past, celebrating the hits that fostered the Pop music of the 2000s in an absolutely unique way.
With 10 tracks that capture the nostalgia of decades past, Let’s go to Sertanejar is an affectionate tribute to the artists who marked the 2000s and also a demonstration of the versatility and creativity of Giorno and Lara as artists who aim to unite all tribes with the launch.
“We wanted, in this project, to completely bring our truth, the one we listen to in our daily lives. It is a very exciting repertoire with which the public will have the opportunity to go back in time with us”highlights Day. “These songs have marked special moments in our lives and belong to artists we have admired since we were little, we are very excited that the public is also excited”adds Lara.
In the repertoire, classics of Wanessa Camargo mix with songs from RBD, Sandy & Junior, NX Zero and other successes in mixtures special with national agreements.
