Five blocks from the iconic avenue Times SquareIn New Yorkthey were infected by the energy of the Brazilian audience during the recording of the second part of the DVD To bein commemoration of 10 years of the first audiovisual project of Henrique and Juliano. The first part of the album, recorded in Brasilia (DF), at the stadium Mané Garrinchais available on digital platforms through Universal Music, via Virgo Music.
The project debuts with four new tracks, and this Friday (15th), the song Almost something will also have its video version, which will be presented on the duo’s official channel on Youtube. To compose the repertoire of this first EP, the duo also chose two mixtures with four of the biggest hits of his career.
Enrico and Giuliano they were the first Brazilians to record in the heart of New Yorkcompletely Times Square and it was almost a mission impossible. During the day November 19, 2022, crowds occupied every block of Times Square. It was a cold late afternoon warmed by the heat and nostalgia of the Brazilian community. Such mobilization also attracted the attention of the city mayor, who decided to take a closer look.
Furthermore, the police chief panicked when he saw New York paralyzed, not for security reasons, but because of people with tickets to shows who couldn’t get there. The solution was to reduce the time required for the two to be presented so that the city could restart and, it is worth mentioning, all the authorizations were issued.
Even with the “stretch and pull” program, nothing could stop the Tocantins brothers from toasting the historic feat: “There are no words for everything that happened… We just want these images to remain in our memory forever”comment Enrico and Giuliano.
Be live in New York will follow the same pattern as the first part, with new tracks and also the mixtures of re-recordings. To open this first EP, four new songs have been chosen: Almost something, Liberato, if it involves lying AND Another betrayedas well as two mixtures, Bad fight / More love and less drama AND Take care of her/that person.
