Zegon AND Laudzwhich form the Tropkillaz group, are present in the assortment Come back to find out more from the South Korean group TOMORROW with the participation of Anitta. The artists were invited by the producer Ryan Tedder to participate in the song which combines K-pop with elements of Brazilian funk and the song debuted at the 2023 VMAs early last week, debuting on digital platforms last week.
“We have been flirting with K-pop for over two years and interacting with producers of the genre. This awakened in us when we saw their interest in our work. When they used our loops, which are on Splice, in the single “LALISA”, for example, and in some other K-pop releases. So we produced it for NCT and it was a huge success. This time Ryan Tedder called us and told us that he had Anitta’s song with TXT and that he had a slot for us, which was definitely our thing to produce. He sent the pre-produced song with a blank space, which is the part Anitta did.”accounts Zegon.
And he adds: “We created this excerpt so that they could later compose the lyrics with Anitta and have her record it. We were very surprised by the result and saw that they also used our elements in other parts of the song. The production was really fantastic. They will be there a lot of K-pop stuff and we want to visit South Korea soon to work together with the guys”
