Tropkillaz e espa launch the remix In Better things. The production duo has collaborated with the South Korean group for a new version of the recently released single, now available on digital platforms via Warner Records.
“Shortly after producing ‘Ay-yo’ for NCT 127, we were invited to remix aespa’s ‘Better Things’, which is a huge hit online, and we were very happy with the opportunity,” accounts Zegon.
“We had already started to have a connection with the K-pop people, mainly thanks to our loops and samples that several producers of the genre used. We are very excited to be able to collaborate with this incredible world and get to know the work of important names up close, like aespa. We feel that the public welcomes and supports our work, it’s really nice”concludes the producer and DJ.
Later this week, Tropkillaz received two nominations for the Latin Grammy. The first with the track Stillcollaboration with The hemp planetwhich is part of the album Gardenersindicated disk Best rock or alternative music album in Portuguesein which they also appear as co-producers of the song Dystopiapartnership between Planet AND Creoleindicated by Best urban performance in Portuguese.
In 2020 the duo was awarded in the category Best contemporary pop album in Portuguese for work inside Apka! In Sky.
