Drake revealed on Friday the 6th that he will be taking a career break due to health issues. The singer spoke about the topic in the latest episode of his program Table for oneon Sirius XM radio.
The announcement was made after the artist released his album For all dogs. According to Drake, the idea is for the hiatus to last about a year or more.
“I probably won’t do music for a while. I’ll be honest with you. I need to focus on my health first, and I’ll talk about that soon,” he said.
“I’ve been having weird stomach problems for years. I’m just saying what it is. So I need to focus on my health to resolve the situation, and I’m going in that direction,” he explained.
Ultimately, the singer concluded: “I’ve got a lot of other things I’d like to focus on. So I’m going to lock the studio door for a while. I don’t even know what ‘a bit’ is. Maybe a year or so.” , perhaps a little more.”
