Juarez Petrillo, Alok’s father, was at the Universo Paralelo festival in Tel Aviv when the bombings began in the conflict with Hamas. Known as DJ Swarup, he was on the program at the event and reported, along with the images: “War, brother, be serious,” he says. “I’m still in shock. And the bombs don’t stop exploding”, he also says.

“Guys, the party is over because there are bombs. I’m shocked,” the DJ says, with security warnings blaring in the background and those present, including him, evacuating the place.
“Surreal! I was supposed to play, but the lineup was an hour late,” he says. It was the first time it had happened, a party like this had never stopped. I don’t even know what to say,” she said.
