A double-decker bus used by legendary singer-songwriter Paul McCartney during his tour 1972 with Wings will be auctioned in the month of November.
The vehicle will participate in the entitled auction Played, Worn and Tom: Iconic Rock ‘n’ Roll Guitars and Memorabiliaorganized by Julien’s auctions.
Produced in 1953, the bus up for auction is a Bristol KSWknown as WNO481. In him, McCartney he was traveling with his then wife Linda McCartney (1941-1998) in addition to the members of the Wingsband that the famous singer founded after leaving the Beatles in 1969, for the tour Wings over Europe.
The auction takes place between November 16th and 18th and the amount raised during the event for the bus is expected to be between US$ 200 thousand and R$ 300 thousand (somewhere between R$ 1 million to R$ 1.5 million at the current exchange rate).
The vehicle contains psychedelic visual works signed by Geoffrey Cleghornwho also worked with other legendary rock bands such as The Who, the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd.
