Evanescence started this Thursday, 19th, a series of shows in Brazil
Last Thursday, the 19th, the Evanescence began a series of shows scheduled in Brazil. The first of them took place in Curitiba, with sold out tickets. The tour marks 20 years since the release of Fallen (2003) and presents the The Bitter Truth (2021).
Fans who attended last night’s event witnessed a big surprise: Amy Lee singing in Portuguese. The singer sat at the piano and played what appears to be an unreleased composition.

As a result, theories that the band’s performance in São Paulo will be the biggest in the history of Evanescence begin to seem like reality. After all, a song made especially for a country’s audience is not for everyone.
The show is scheduled for October 21st and will take place at Allianz Parque. “SÃO PAULO This looks like our biggest solo show yet,” they wrote on Twitter. “There are still tickets left, so get yours for a once-in-a-lifetime show.” Rio de Janeiro (23rd), Belo Horizonte (25th and 26th) and Olinda (28th) complete the itinerary.
