Madonna has used excerpts from an interview with Cher during her ‘Celebration Tour’ shows
Cher dispelled rumors that he was still fighting with Madonna. The owner of the hit “Like A Prayer” has used it in shows Celebration Tour excerpts from an interview in which Cher calls her “evil”. The subject came up in conversation with the Los Angeles Times (via NME).
“There are many things I respect about her. I think she knows how to work in showbiz like no one else. But despite her commercial talent, Madonna, there’s something about her that I don’t like. Now, the rivalry is part of the past, according to Cher: “We buried that beef a long time ago, because I called her something much worse, and she forgave me.”
“There’s no one, like her, who had her ear to the ground and knew everything before anyone else. I mean, she knew what was coming and she was right,” he added. “I always thought that was her greatest gift — that she could know the trends before any of us.”
