“If you’re one of those people who says, ‘I love Pink Floyd, but I can’t stand Roger’s politics,’ you might as well retreat to the bar now.” Thus begins the first show of the global farewell tour from the stages of Roger Watersthe band’s former lead singer Pink fluid on the night of Tuesday 24th, at the Mané Garrincha Stadium in Brasilia.
In bold even before the first song, Waters left a clear message asking those who are uncomfortable with his political stances to leave.

The British singer is known, in addition to his talent, for his position in favor of human rights and for his criticism of former president Jair Bolsonaro.
In October 2018, during the tour Us + ThemWaters used the screen to convey a message that associated the former president and other right-wing politicians, the resurgence of neo-fascism in the world along with the phrase “fuck the pigs!” (fuck the pigs).
