Taylor Swift, whose lucrative “Eras Tour” is still ongoing, has officially joined the select group of billionaires. A recent Bloomberg News analysis puts the 33-year-old pop superstar’s net worth at $1.1 billion. Tours represent a major component of that fortune, racking up about $700 million in ticket sales for shows performed so far. The news also estimates that the singer’s 53 performances in the United States this year have generated $4.3 billion in the country’s gross domestic product. There are still 89 shows left on the tour schedule, with tickets selling for prices reaching hundreds of dollars.
Beyond the stages: films and records
But the artist’s fortune transcends the stage. His film recording the “Eras Tour” is about to top $200 million at the global box office, breaking the record for the most successful documentary of all time.
Furthermore, it has been a continuous presence in the charts with the strategy of alternating an album of new songs with another of re-recordings. After losing control of the original recordings of some of his most popular albums, acquired by businessman Scooter Braun, he decided to re-record them in chronological order. Live tour in Brazil
It is worth mentioning that “The Eras” tour includes a confirmed visit to Brazilian soil in November. The presentations are scheduled for the 17th, 18th and 19th at the Nilton Santos Stadium (RJ) and the 24th, 25th and 26th at the Allianz Parque (SP).
