The Melim trio, formed by brothers Gabi, Rodrigo AND Diogoannounced a hiatus so that its members could focus on their solo careers, while recording the program High hours from the Globe, this Monday (30). The attraction will air next Saturday (4).
“The second announcement, a little more delicate, especially for those who are big fans, is that we will take a break from our band to follow our new dreams, which are solo careers. We’ve talked a lot. Now there will be three Melim. One is not enough, now we will have three to sing. I know it is difficult for some people, we are brothers, we work and live together”has explained Diogo Melim.
Enthusiastic, Gabi Melim explained: “But it is the closing of a cycle, it is not the end. It is the beginning of another cycle. Melim is always alive in us and part of who we are. I will cry.”
Between 2018 and 2022, the Melim he recorded three studio albums: Melim, Let it come from the heart AND Courtyardas well as three EPs, titled Melim, Eu feat. You AND Love and flowers.
