Rock in Rio 2024 has had its first names confirmed. The main one is the singer Ed Sheeran, who returns to Brazil for the fourth time. The four-time Grammy winner previously performed in the country in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
In addition to him, Ne-Yo and Joss Stone have also been confirmed, returning to perform at the Ricardo Medina festival one year after playing at The Town.
While Sheeran will be one of the main attractions of Palco Mundo, the stages of Ne-Yo and Joss Stone have not been confirmed.
In addition to the international attractions, among the artists confirmed at the event there is also the Brazilian Ludmilla, who completes a third revival of The Town among the four names published.

The Rio festival, which risks becoming The City of Rio, will take place on 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22 September 2024, in Cidade do Rock, in Rio de Janeiro.
The event will mark the festival’s 40th anniversary and will have a new Mundo stage, a larger Sunset stage, a new area called Global Village and more.
Sales of the Rock in Rio Card passport are scheduled to begin on December 7, starting at 7:00 pm.
