Rock in Rio revealed another international attraction this Thursday (23/11). The band Imagine Dragons will perform at the event again, having debuted at Rock in Rio in 2019. Since then, the group has become a fixture on Brazilian stages. In 2023 alone, there have been three Mercury World Tour performances.
In addition to the Americans, the Rock in Rio organization has also confirmed the singer Lulu Santos, present at the first edition of the festival in 1985. Her participation could be linked to the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the event.
They join the previously announced Ed Sheeran, who returns to Brazil for the fourth time, Ne-Yo and Joss Stone, who return to perform at the Ricardo Medina festival a year after playing at The Town, as well as the Brazilian Ludmilla, another attraction of the city.
While Sheeran will be one of the main attractions of Palco Mundo, the stages of Ne-Yo and Joss Stone have not been confirmed.
