Brazilian death metal band Krisiuna great exponent of world heavy music, performs on the stage of the historic Cinema Joiain São Paulo. The special show ends the project Rolling Stone Sessions in 2023. Tickets continue to be sold on the Cine Joia website.
The global death metal institution is on tour behind the 12th album of its career, Mortem Solis, fierce and aggressive and, yet, extremely hard-working. Highest mark of the brothers Alex Camargo (bass/vocals), Max Kolesne (battery) and Moyses Kolesne (guitar). The tracks “Serpent Messiah”, “Sworn Enemies”, “Swords into Flesh” and “War Blood Hammer” demonstrate Krisiun’s 32-year commitment to the art of death metal.
“Mortem Solis it’s more direct”, says Moyses Kolesne. “We cut out everything we considered unnecessary to make it as brutal as possible. Without using a computer or click-tracks – all in the true spirit of death metal. The three of us share the same vision for metal. We are an army of three. Of course, we evolved as brothers, people and musicians. We had a lot of fun together. But this cohesion gave us Krisiun’s path, the path we are on and will continue to follow”, he adds.
A Rolling Stone Sessions is an avant-garde project that was born in 2022 and aims to provide a more intimate experience with artists, promoting special meetings with names from heavy metal to MPB.

About Krisiun
Krisiun is a Brazilian death metal band, formed in 1990, in the city of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The band’s name derives from a lunar sea called “Mare Crisium”. It is one of the precursors of brutal death metal worldwide, being one of the bands from Brazil with great international recognition, always evolving sonically in its albums, without losing its weight and brutality. Krisiun’s infernal paths began in Ijuí. The trio was inspired by several extreme metal bands, including Slayer, Venom, Destruction, Motorhead, Morbid Angel and the famous countryman Grave. The band worked hard for years until they signed with Dynamo Recordsa record label based in São Paulo, and released their debut album, Black Force Domain, in 1995. The news spread quickly. Krisiun’s insane, unbridled sound was absolutely mesmerizing. They signed a contract with Gun Records in 1997 and thus arrived in Europe, officially with the trio’s first tour outside Brazil: the Black Force Domain Tour. The audience was stunned by the trio’s bloody death metal. Since then, the legacy of brutality has been hoisted with Apocalyptic Revelation (1998), worldwide release of Conquerors of Armageddon (2000) by Century Media, Works of Carnage (2003), Southern Storm(2008) and Scourge of the Enthroned (2018). Mortem Solis continues the tradition of uncompromising musical insanity. The band has performed at the world’s main festivals such as Rock in Rio, Wacken Open Air, Hellfestbetween others.
