Dave Grohl he had to stare at a sign that said “no swearing” to ensure he wouldn’t swear during a show in Abu Dhabi. Last Sunday, the 26th, the Foo Fighters performed at the Abu Dhabi Grand PrixFormula 1 race in the United Arab Emirates, where saying “sh*t” can lead to a year in prison.
The vocalist told the audience that this was probably the first time he had done a show without swearing. He further added that Taylor Hawkins, who died in 2022, “would love” all of that. “Everlong” was dedicated to the drummer (via NME).

Grohl also revealed that he dreams a lot about his friend: “I had a dream about him last night. He was bald and had a ponytail. I swear to God, I really dreamed about it. I dream about him about three times a week, but yesterday At night it was good, because he had no hair and a ponytail.”
