The accident occurred in Avaré, in the hinterland of Sao Paulo, after driving tests in the space open to the public
Thirteen people were injured after a a bull invades an arena occupied by the public waiting for the singer Ana Castela’s show in Avaré (SP). The place, where the riding tests had been carried out, was open to the public who could watch the peasant’s performance.
The incident happened last Saturday, the 9th, at the Municipal Agricultural and Industrial Exhibition (Emapa) of Avaré. Images posted on social media show the moment the bull escapes the containment area and attacks the public (see below).

To the Earth, the city of Avaré said the 13 injured people received medical treatment in the emergency room and were released. The National Rodeo Confederation (CNAR) underlined, in a statement, that it was an atypical event and that the bull escaped while being loaded onto a truck.
A team of riflemen managed to contain and isolate the animal between mobile fences. From that point on, the animal was safely taken to a handling space under the rodeo stage.
Ana Castela’s show then took place, at 10.30 pm, without complications or delays. The singer’s publicist expressed solidarity with the injured.
